Yao has Brown golden eyes and dark Brown hair. He is slender, and somewhat short, and looks like a girl, but don't call him a girl, he might you.
Personality: Being in many wars and being as old as he is, he is very wise. He has been practicing martial arts for a long time, and is very strong. Yao can control his chi very well, making him slightly calmer than the other countries at times. He grew up alone, till he started to venture out and look for others. Many have mistaken him for a girl when they first meet, but he would soon after a while get annoyed by that and would glare at you or just high kick you if you do call him a girl.
He likes to keep to himself most of the time, but if you get on his good side, you might see a side to him that most people don't ever get to see. He can also be a real tsundare toward many people. Since he has many younger siblings, he is a motherly type of person and would love to help heal anyone if they are in need. He used to be really addicted to opium because of England, but after the opium wars, and losing Hong Kong, he became poor and almost completely stopped using opium all together.He is head strong and blunt, and will not hold back when kicking your ass aru.
At times he can't think of much besides thinking of his golden years, and all the invasion and his riches. His back can also be in much pain and he would want nothing more then the bliss of being able to lay down and take a nap. He would also love anyone(but france) to sit next to him and drink tea and chat aru.
Likes: Cooking, his siblings, good weather, overly cute things, Shinatty-chan, good tea,and tradition.
Dislikes: Being over worked, being called a girl, and having to do things without a real explanation aru, hates the french. Also, he hates food poisoning and France.
Strengths: He can build things using almost anything he wants, and can be prepared for almost anything, he can fend for himself and can MAKE people work together. Yao can make food with anything, and with any little things he can find.He can tell the difference between many types of elements and can use them to make things that he wants. And for anything medical, Yao can make his own medecine from almost anything he wants with the right mesurements.
Weaknesses: Being cough off guard, Shinatty-chan, cute things, seeing people in pain(unless he really hates them), not being able to know whats going on, extreme heat, pandas(cause they are so cute), bad food.
Fears: To look all over for his siblings and find them dead. Leaving this world leaving behind others that might need his help, being forgotten about, and going insane. That, and Yao fears betrayal the most.
What happened before and shortly after the apocalypse?: He was sitting in his house, drinking olong tea, enjoying the stars at night, talking to whom ever was next to him. He was chatting the day away, along with handling paper work for his boss and looking after his people to make sure they are doing okay. But after, he was locked in his own house, from the shock of his people dying. He soon after went to go look for other countries after he was able to withstand the pain of it all. But after a long while, he was not able to contact anyone, no matter how hard he tried. So he went off to try to get out of his country and see if he can find anyone alive. He starts to gather is people so they can try to find things to make boats, and other means to get out of the country. For the longest time, all he can think about is where everyone was, where they okay? Are they alive aru? Have they lost it like so many of my people?
What are your character's top priorities and goals?: To go back to the calm times(that or his golden age). Also to make sure that his siblings are okay.
Sample Post: He looked out of the small window, the fire spreading across the southern part of his country. North, his country was being covered over with ice. He even wondered if Russia was okay, since they did have such a good relationship. He can FEEL it, HEAR it, his people screaming in pain. It hurt him, and all he could do was hide himself; lie on the ground motionless. He felt so useless, so pathtic. All he can do was to stay isolated in his house. But he couldn't stay for long, now that his house was caught in the fire.He took his most beloved things and ran out. He turned around and looked at the house. The same one that he lived in his whole life. The house where he lived with his siblings before they left and betraied him.
His chest tightened; thinking about everything that has happened and he walked away. But then the earthquake hit, and his land trammeled. He moved for something to hold onto, and as he felt his people die he cried. "Where are they aru?" He sniffed, holding himself up from his support. The eartquake made a mess once again, he looked around to see if there was a path for him to take, he got up on his feet, and started to slowly walk past all of the ruin. The ash around got into his lungs, causing him to cough more. Yao feel down, with is chest feeling like it has cought on fire.
